Bev Reid Alaskan Artist Living in the Aleutian Islands provides wonderful and plentiful scenes and subjects for painting. Inspiration can be found in the beautiful volcanic mountains; the richness of the colors of nature and the seasonal changes; the cultures, and the proud history of the islands and the Aleutian peoples. The relationship the people have with the Bering Sea and the North Pacific Ocean, and its' severity have also provided inspiration for several of the Aleutian series of works completed. Specializing in watercolours, oils, pastels, and most for the past two years has concentrated on monotypes in all media.
