Polarity therapy, created by Dr. Randolph Stone, is a
holistic system enabling people to rediscover their inner beauty in a gentle way. Polarity
promotes deep relaxation and revitalization by balancing the body's energy. Once you are
relaxed, your own natural intelligence will automatically correct any temporary imbalance
of energy and good health will be restored. Polarity works because it is designed to
help the WHOLE person, not just the part that hurts. Through love energy, positive
thoughts and attitudes, gentle manipulations, mild exercises and proper dietary habits, a
true feeling of wellness can be achieved. |

Your host and therapist, Catherine Thundercloud Nicholas, has
been practicing in Alaska for eight years. Her business started in Anchorage and branched
out to include Kodiak and Nome. She has performed more than three thousand treatments in
these communities. Catherine has also taught at the University of Alaska Fairbanks'
Northwest Campus in Nome. Her work is a combination of polarity and massage therapies.
Through these modalities, she supports each client to flow into their physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual awareness. |
||
A natural effective way to uplift body, mind and spirit, Polarity Therapy utilizes four therapeutic techniques:
BODYWORK: The practitioner's hands assist the flow of the healing energy on the client's body. The client rests on a standard treatment table, and the practitioner palpates contact points and patterns in the client's "energy anatomy." DIET: Polarity Therapy diets promote cleansing and longevity with fresh wholesome foods adopted to individual needs. EXERCISE: Polarity Yoga is a series of simple self-help energy techniques that create relaxation and balance. SELF-AWARENESS: Practitioners encourage clients to understand themselves and to view the world from a positive perspective. |
||
These natural, self-guided techniques provide a simple, comprehensive method for maintaining balance and good health.
