The salmon run the stream from the end of July into the fall. The bears fish heavily at the start of the salmon run and into the first two weeks of August.
Mink Creek is located 20 miles east of Iliamna on the northeast shore of Iliamna Lake. It is accessible by airplane, wheel or float, in just 15 minutes from Iliamna.
Bring your camera and plenty of film. Since it is often windy and wet this time of year, you should pack your warm clothes, boots, and rain gear.
We have one queen-sized and three single beds available, a party of five would be the maximum of course, you might also choose to sleep on the floor.
Your airfare or other transportation is your responsibility. Nightly rate and meals are $125 per person.
