The Unalaska Department of Public Safety would like to congratulate Flor Luna, EMT Firefighter and Search and Rescue Technician, for receiving the July Unalaska Volunteer Fire / EMS Volunteer of the Month award. This award has been established to honor the volunteers for their service to the community and the Department. The recipient is selected at the beginning of each month based on the number of participation hours earned during the preceding month. These hours are earned through community service activities, continuing education, teaching and other related endeavors.
