Alaska River Adventures
Your guide to the great river and fly-fishing of Alaska. We have been in business for 21 years, our safety record is unblemished, and we've taken thousands of folks fishing, a few at a time... We are dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our natural resources. We are a Loomis sponsered guide service. All our guides are professionals with first aid and CPR qualifications and are thought to be some of the best guides on this river. Most are year round residents and know this river like the back of their hand.
All our boats are coast guard approved, with class 3 life vest for all aboard.
Our 20 foot Willie drift boats seat four plus the guide. The boats are rowed by the guide, so your trip down the river is a quiet one and allows you to fish along the way to the next hole. Our equipment is top-of-the-line; Loomis, Lamaglass fly, spin and bait caster rods. Our fly reels are: STHs, Ross, System Twos, the spin reels: Garcia and Shakespear and our bait caster reels are Garcia Ambassaduars. We provide all fishing gear for our trips including hip boots and/or waders.
